Dark Alley -- North of Central Avenue -- Albuquerque This dingy alley is created by the boarded up fronts of several abandoned structures between San Pedro and San Mateo Boulevards. There are about six or seven small buildings here, most of them sporting faded signs in Spanish and English. Broken bottles and syringes litter the ground, along with used condoms, cardboard boxes, some mildewed bedding, and random garbage. This alley is a completely different world from the city streets, one with a darker, seedier feel. The kind of person one might find in this dismal alley is a slightly lower grade of street scum than most. This is where the /real/ wheeling and dealing might take place - the illegal weapon sales, the drug trafficking, the prostitution.
