This could be any young, male, asian college student, and maybe it is. Gareth has dark brown hair, long tangled locks, bangs that fall into his face to get swatted lazily aside by the back of a hand, hair that looks like it longs to fall against his shoulders. The bangs hide eyes that might as well be hazel but seem indecisive about it - sometimes they appear a bit blue, sometimes a light and warm brown, sometimes almost green, the kind of green eyes that people hopefully say they're green-eyed but you look at 'em and you can't say for sure they really are. His heavily tanned face show off smooth, sun-bronzed skin, a mild mouth, decent cheekbones and jaw, showing a caucasian heritage as well. He looks tired but alert, like sleep is a distant friend and wariness a constant companion.

He's wearing a white collared shirt, but in a Southeast Asian style, not a Western style: more dhoti, less business casual. He's got olive drab shorts that look like they were cut from army surplus cargo pants, and has sandals on his feet. He looks like a young man ready for summer with a kind of tense anticipation..
