So you want to be a Vampire?

Vampire: the Masquerade is the original World of Darkness role-playing game of personal horror and intrigue. Upon the crux of this system, almost all else was built in the World of Darkness. By this token, vampires are essential to almost any WoD environment in order to make it feel authentic and enriched.
Vampire Staff
Zoetrope is the current head of the vampire sphere.
Application Guidelines:
Vampire applications will be processed in the following way:
  1. You will submit a concept using +concept <sphere/group> = <concept>
  2. This concept should have your clan, what generation you want to be (11th - 13th), and a sentence or two about your character. Make sure you have read what is and isn't allowed.
  3. Once the concept is approved you will be moved to CG which will be fully automated.
  4. Once you're done in character generation, a job will automatically be generated. Then your sheet and background will be looked over and comments will be added.
  5. If you need any merits or flaws, add them in a comment to the job.
  6. Once your bg has been reviewed by Vampstaff then you will be approved for play.

The goal of vampstaff is to process concepts/bgs every day so that all characters can be approved for play in 24-48 hours.

Sphere Theme:
The main theme of the game is to have fun. This is a co-operative story game and fun should go both ways. It should be fun for the vamp staff as well as the vamp players. The secondary theme is a heavily political vampire game where the struggle with your humanity is paramount. The idea will to be hold court on a monthly basis, with a strong npc backing.

As for the focus on humanity, and politics, we imagine a game where the PC struggles to maintain their humanity while being assaulted with orders by the Elders who want you to do things they can't do themselves. The struggle to maintain who you are under peer pressure, essentially. Some will be lost. Some will pick sides. Some will hope to avoid picking sides. Some will hope they can play both sides. In the end the choice comes down to each individual vampire, each individual player, and those choices will have a profound effect.

In a world that fights so hard to be static, can you be the change or will you too just be swallowed up? An intensely personal game, where choices make a real difference.

Ventrue Gangrel Nosferatu
Malkavians Caitiff

Generation: 11-13
Starting Disciplines: Clan only
Tremere Primary Path: Blood only
Starting Embrace: No more than 80 years ago. No embraces under the age of 16. All characters start as neonates.
Sect: Camarilla Only
There will be no Sabbat-sphere.
