Ask anyone who's been stranded in the wilderness and they'll tell you just how valuable this Skill is. Survival is more than just a camping pass time, it's the difference between life and death. Those who take the time to learn this Skill find that they are adept and finding food, water or shelter. Additionally, Survival allows a character to track prey, evade tracking, and find their way back to civilization. When a character attempts to use Stealth in the wilderness, they cannot use more Stealth dice than they have Survival dice.
x Unskilled: Unskilled. • Novice: You can survive a five-mile hike. •• Practiced: You "roughed it" on a regular basis. ••• Competent: You know poisonous mushrooms from edible ones. •••• Expert: You could live for months in the wilderness of your choice. ••••• Master: You could get dropped naked into the Andes and do all right for yourself.
