Not everyone has the kind of features that a shaved head can enhance. Fortunately, Nathan does, strong features in an appealingly sturdy oval face. His eyes are brown, fringed with the sort of black lashes that give the illusion of liner, bright and keen beneath straight dark brows. His lips are full and his nose straight and long, hinting perhaps at eastern Europe. He wears large hoop earrings in both ears, and a suggestion of dark shadow against the medium-light skin of his scalp is the only hint at the color of his hair; his head is shaved bald, leaving him nothing to hide behind. He carries himself with such an air of easy self-possession that one could be forgiven for failing to notice that he is surprisingly thin. Long, slim hands are well-worn, fingertips hard with calluses. It’s a rare day that sees Nathan dressed in anything other than black, with the occasional bit of red to liven things up. It keeps his wardrobe easy to organize. He wears heavy silver rings on almost every finger, and an assortment of beaded necklaces; right now, it’s two strands of those little bone skull beads.
