Narisha is a student at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.  She started her undergrad journalism studies in the fall of 2007. She is a transplant from California, having chosen UNM of UC Berkley for because of the schools focus on science, anthropology and nature - branches of journalism she thinks she would like to venture into one day.<br><br>Nari makes it a practice to talk to strangers every day.  She is naturally inquisitive, but more than that, she is compelled by stories of people.  She cares less about how exciting or mundane the stories might be and more about how the stories connect them to the world of symbolic meaning in which we all live.  So don't be surprised if one day, she just ups and starts asking questions of you.
