+time
@time
+ic2rl <time>
+rl2ic <time>

Our time is a rotating schedule designed to make it so that no one with IC time constraints is prevented from playing. Daylight time runs at a time compression of 3:1, so one IC day occurs in 4 hours. Nighttime runs at a 1:1 rate so that it will take a full 12 hours for one IC night.

This means that a 24 hour VR day will occur every 16 hours of RL and that we will cover 3 IC days every 2 RL days.

@time shows the RL time around the globe, to help calculate when other players might be online.

+ic2rl <time> will take an IC <time> and convert it into real time. For example if you want to find out when Christmas morning is:

>+ic2rl Dec 25 12:00:00 2007

Converting Tue Dec 25 12:00:00 2007 to RL time:
Sat Oct 02 10:00:00 2010

+rl2ic <time> will convert an RL <time> into an IC <time>. For example, if you are trying to determine what the game-time will be on Friday night:

>+rl2ic Sep 17 18:00:00 2010

Converting Fri Sep 17 18:00:00 2010 to IC time:
Mon Dec 03 12:00:00 2007

Note: <time> must be of the form MMM DD HH:MM:SS YYYY.
