You know how to fly a plane (or other type of aircraft), as well as how to read instrumentation and do some basic navigation. Your skill level limits the types of aircraft you can fly. A glider pilot (one dot) cannot fly a helicopter (requiring four dots).
x Untalented: Untalented. • Novice: Club member; hang gliders only. •• Practiced: Club champion; gliders and small aircraft only. ••• Competent: Professional or club instructor; commercial airplane license. •••• Expert: Military or display pilot; helicopter pilot; any type of commercial aircraft. ••••• Master: Top Gun.
