Pizza Palace/Places

From Masq

Long Counter:
A long counter with single seats all in a row. A good place for the single diner just grabbing a quick slice of pizza and glass of beer, or those who are waiting for their to-go orders to be ready. There is always at least one place at the counter which is sticky or has crumbs.

Small Table:
A table for two near the front window, covered with fresh white butcher paper. A napkin dispenser is perched next to red pepper and parmesan shakers, and a little cup of crayons encourages customers to doodle on the butcher paper while they wait. The table wobbles a bit, just enough to be annoying.

Medium Booth:
A booth for four, its table surface covered with fresh white butcher paper. A napkin dispenser is perched next to red pepper and parmesan shakers, and a little cup of crayons encourages customers to doodle on the butcher paper while they wait. On the wall near one of the bench-seats someone has scrawled, 'For a SPECIAL DELIVERY, call 333-1601!'

Arcade Area:
The Arcade Area is usually full of children, made feral by pepperoni and coca cola. At later hours adults in varying degrees of sobriety frequent the games, which include Skee Ball, Dance Dance Revolution, Frogger, Pac Man, Guitar Hero, Street Fighter, and some kind of deer hunting game PETA would not approve of.

Outdoor Table:
A picnic-style table, its bench seats and table surface made of sturdy blue plastic which is impervious to sun, snow, toddlers, and sophomore college students. The outdoor seating is under a covered patio, protected from the elements and from bird poop. A sign with a poorly-drawn labrador, more creepy than cute, reminds guests that pets are welcome in the patio area only.
