No one knows the Umbra better than Corax — well, except maybe for the Nuwisha, but even they don't have the 3D view a raven gets. Over the eons, the raven-folk have explored more of the Umbra and its paths and safe spaces than just about anyone, and more than that, they've made sure to pass the info on to their colleagues throughout the generations. Chances are just about any Corax now has a chance of knowing at least a few safe routes and places in the Umbra. With this background, they're also likely to know the local unsafe places, and maybe how to drag a trailing enemy into one to get rid of him.
