Characters can learn up to their Generation background dots +1 in a Discipline for regular XP. Once they surpass the Gen+1 score, XP base cost is doubled. Once they surpass twice (2x) their Gen+1 score, XP base costs are tripled. More simply, if new Discipline score > Gen dots +1 = base cost x2 If new Discipline score > (Gen dots +1) x2 = base cost x3 Since math is hard, included is a complete table!
