Zoie - Dancing With Luc/Log

From Masq

Zoie comes back down the stairs from Kendrick's room and she doesn't look happy. Her smile fills her lips as she steps off that last stair. "Sorry, Lucian. I didn't mean to walk away like that. We just had to have one of those room mate discussions." She smiles, but her eyes still hold a bit of hurt to them. "So.. find a game or did you want to talk about your lady troubles?"

Lucian has hung up his coat and retaken his seat in the living room. He's got a new beer in his hand and an unopened one on the floor by his feet; stocking up in advance. The TV has been turned to the cartoon channel, but he looks away from it as she starts down the stairs. "No worries darlin'." At her question he laughs, "My lady troubles are old news and nothing you'd want to hear. I'm afraid I'm not much of a video game guy. Found some old toons though, which are better if you ask me."

Zoie smiles to that and grabs a bottle of water from the fridge before she comes to curl up on the couch a bit. "So you and your ... wife.. use to own this place? Were you the ones that threw all the um..." She blushes. ".. adult parties, I heard about?" She looks up at him with those beautiful green eyes as she waits for an answer. "As well, I like hearing about most people's problems. Are you like, going to move in here?"

Lucian chokes on his beer, a real choke, the kind that makes him wince as carbonated liquid tries to come out his nose. It's his turn to gain some red in his face as he tries to breath again. "Say what?! Adult p-*choke* parties?" He blinks over at her starting to laugh and cough at the same time. "My brother and I owned it. He and his wife lived upstairs and I was down here with...with mine." There's a stumble over the last part. "There were no parties. Vic didn't like people." He snorts, swiping at his face. "No, not moving in. I'm getting my place set up, just using this as a crash pad while I slap a coat of paint on it."

Zoie blushes at his first reaction. "Oh! I um.. I thought I heard brothers had.. um.. up here.. I.." She has nothing. How do you recover from that question? So she just stares at him. "I'm sorry." The blush just gets more deeper shaded. "I am not saying anything right tonight at all. Um.. so um... tell me about your place?"

Lucian eyes her, though his are kind of watery at the moment. "No, seriously, who said that?" He's still laughing, though it's wheezy at the moment. "Don't worry about repeating something you heard. I'm just wanting to know who got that impression? If there were sex parties going on up here, I'm kinda pissed I wasn't invited..." He grins. "It's just an old apartment, nothing fancy. Nothing like this place. It's kinda nice getting to come inside again. At the same time it's a little...off. With folks not my family around. You know what I mean?"

Zoie shakes her head. "I don't want to say and cause an issue. They might have meant another home." She shrugs those thin shoulders of hers. She then looks around the area thoughtfully. "Zack wanted me to get my own place... back when he was still around and dating me." That causes a bit of sad to touch her voice before she looks back to Lucian and moves slightly closer. "Do you want me to move out as I'm not family? Raine is making me think to do so anyways."

Lucian shakes his head, his brow furrowing, "Hell no I don't want you to move out. You're a hell of a lot easier on the eyes than Ken is. And while I don't know Raine, so I'm speaking in generals...Fuck her. This isn't her place it's Ken's, and if he says you can be here you can be her. Don't let someone with a bitch complex make you uncomfortable." He shrugs a little, looking down at the beer in his hand. "Man troubles? Care to talk about them?" He offers with a small smile, taking a drink.

Zoie laughs to that. "I'm okay to look at." She offers with a blush of discomfort. High app score ftw. "No, I don't really have man problems. Um.. Jake and I went out a few times, but he left. Zack and I went out, but he left." She grins. "Men just leave, but they aren't super serious or anything. I um.. have this condition that makes men not want to date me."

Lucian lifts an eyebrow slightly, "Women leave too." and he doesn't sound bitter when he says it. Not. At. All. "What kind of condition is that?" His head tilts and he gives her a look, "You don't want super serious or something?"

Zoie chuckles. "Virginity." She shrugs her shoulders. "I'm saving it for marriage and that puts most men off. I'm okay with that though." She watches him for a few moments. "So did your woman.. or um... boyfriend.. leave?"

Lucian covers his eyes with one hand briefly, "Wife, female wife. And yes, she did." He sighs a little bit, tilting his beer back for several large swallows. "If you want the gory details, she miscarried our kid, then decided to skip town. I found out about both from her sister after the fact. Kind of a wham-bam deal. I think I actually know what it feels like to have your heart ripped out and danced on." He muses, nodding slowly, then he shrugs, "Nothing wrong with that, if that's what you want, but you're probably going to have to go uber-religious to find a guy that's going to be okay with that."

Zoie shrugs. "Zack didn't care and neither did Jake." She smiles a bit to that. "It's just my view on it. I know it isn't traditional, but I think sex complicates issues." There is a frown to that. "Yeah... I know what it feels like. My twin sister died." That twin connection? Totally real. She puts a hand on his, if allowed. "I'm sorry that happened."

Lucian lifts an eyebrow, and looks like he's going to say something, then wisely shuts his mouth. As she rests her hand on his he turns his hand to grasp her fingers, giving her hand a playful shake. "Me too. But it's been over a year, so I figure it's time to pull up my big boy pants and move on.

Unfortunately..." he goes back to teasing, "It seems as if Ken's hiding them all from everyone."

Zoie blushes to the last comment. Her hand shakes his before pulling back. "Well.. Kenny does seem to have a lot of females, but really... I'm not staying if Raine is going to be around. So .. if I'm still here, you can have her."

Lucian quirks an eyebrow and seems confused now. "Have who? Raine? I just met her like...ten minutes ago." He laughs softly, "I like to at least know last names before I aim to sweep someone off their feet. Also, she seems kinda...formal. I think I forgot my suit and manners in another state."

Zoie smiles. "I like manners. I just don't think she has any unless they suit her, you know? Like she doesn't care that she came into my home and insulted me." There is a lift of her shoulders. "I'm just glad I'm not a lesbian, the women here all seem rather full of themselves."

Lucian blinks a couple times and starts to laugh, "Well for what it's worth, I'm glad you're not a lesbian too." He gives her fingers a squeeze before leaning forward, swapping his empty beer bottle for the full one. Twisting the top off he drops it on top of the empty. "So what do you do Zoie? Besides sit around and put up with other girls crap?"

"Why would you care if I liked women or not? Oh! I work at Kiva as a barista and um.. I'm a dance major at college." Zoie offers to that. "I sing a little, but um.. I'm too embarrassed to do it in front of most people. What about you?"

Lucian just shakes his head, "It's not important." Then shrugs as he settles back in his seat, "I work at the Aftermath as a bouncer. I used to own it, but I gave it to a friend when all my personal shit hit the fan. So now I work there, which is nice. I get to hang out at the club but someone else has to do the paperwork."

Zoie shakes her head to that a bit. "I don't know if I know what Aftermath is." She gives an apologetic smile to him.

Lucian grunts under his breath, "It's a Metal bar, leather and grunge crowd mostly. Dance pit, booze and loud angry music. There weren't any in town so I figured I'd grab the market." He chuckles, "You should come by sometime, if just to peek in the door. I worked hard on building the place."

Zoie smiles and comes to her feet. "You want to go now? We can totally go dancing and stuff. Or.. um.. did you need to sleep? I understand if you do." She smiles warmly at him.

Lucian shakes his head, putting his beer on the table. "Nah, I don't sleep much." Lemme get the helmet out of my room. It's going to be big on you, but it's better than nothing." He gets to his feet and heads towards the guest bedroom.

Zoie looks over herself thoughtfully. "I should change." She scoots into her room too for this one. "I don't think I've ever ridden a motorcycle." She is soon heard tossing through her clothing.

Lucian waits outside the door after finding what he was looking for in the guest room. "Only way to travel." He puts the bandana back on, using it to cover his hair. "Nothing between you and the road but some leather and good luck."

Speaking of leather... Zoie comes out in it. She has on a pair of leather pants that leave ... well they fit like a fine glove. She also has on a corset with buckles on the side and a zipper down the front of the black leather. "Okay.. is this good?" The end is a pair of knee high leather boots as well. That's right app five girl in all leathers preparing to jump on his bike.

Lucian looks over as she comes out, and his answer comes out on a nonsensical grunt. Clearing his throat he straightens up, nodding...alot before he holds out the helmet. "Good...yeah. It's good." He's looking, more than is comfortable, before he turns to start heading towards the door.

Zoie takes the helmet and then blushes again to the look. She tells herself he's just approving the outfit. "I just didn't want to stick out at a leather place, you know?" Then she's faced with the bike. "How um... how do we both ride that?"

Zoie will leave a note for Kendrick too.

Lucian opens the door for her, "You ride bitch behind me. No, I'm not calling you a name, that's just what it's called. C'mon." He waves her through before following after. Yes, he's doing it on purpose as is evident as he follows her down the stairs.

Zoie frowns. "Can we call it something else? I'm not really big on cussing. Maybe we can call it.. um.. um... I don't know. We will come up with something." Yeah, he might not always like to have her leave, but he loves to watch her walk away. She works that outfit in ways that are pretty much not right.

Lucian laughs, turning to head over to the Honda. "We don't have to call it anything, but now you know in case it comes up again." Reaching down he pops out the passenger foot rests. "Just make sure you hold on, and try not to go all tense on corners if you can help it." He swings his leg over the bike, grasping the handle bars as he lifts it up, popping the kick stand up. He nods to the seat behind him, more of a perch on the big bike than a full seat. "Hop on."

Zoie has never seen a more terrifying thing in her life. It shows in her eyes. "It only has like two wheels to hold that up." She looks around and then whimpers before she swings her leg over it. The girl's body presses right against him as she's already holding on for dear life.

Lucian reaches inside his coat to pull out a pair of riding glasses, slipping them on before he fires the beast up. In deference to the new rider he refrains from reving the engine up, and the bike underneath them is still slightly warm from his ride out to the house. He backs the bike up, feet shuffling in the gravel as he turns it around, then rolls down to the street slowly before taking off once rubber touches pavement.

Zoie is shaking like a leaf as they start to race through town. It causes her to burrow more into the poor man as she whimpers. Her eyes are pressed tight as she can feel all the turns. On the plus side, they do act as one joined person as Zoie is so clung to him.

Lucian keeps it at the speed limit, but with nothing between a person and pavement it's easily still unsettling the first go. As they reach the club he slows it down to a crawl, pulling into one of the employee slots out front before slowly leaning it over to drop the stand. Turning the engine off he gives her arms a pat and a rub, "We're here in one piece kitten, you can pull the claws out." laughing softly.

Zoie isn't sure she wants to. Her fingers do sort of have a death grip and if he looks around his waist - he probably has perfect half moons. Zoie slides off the bike a bit and then studies him. "Thanks..." She's not fully sure she enjoyed it or not.

Lucian nods, reaching out to help her take the helmet off after locking the bike up. "You're welcome. It gets better, I promise." He chuckles, "You've never ridden before, and you've never ridden with me. You get a little trust built up and before you know it you'll be doing crazy stuff like looking around."

Funny things about bikes, they mess with your hearing a bit. Zoie turns instantly red. "I.. you... did.. did you just say I've never ridden you?" Her green eyes just stare at him in that owlish manner of disbelief. However, she does make an awkward laugh sound at the looking around part.

Lucian blinks at her then bursts out laughing, shaking his head, "No...you've never ridden WITH me before." Putting emphasis on the word. "I've already got the hint that I'm not in the running for the other." He grins, then motions for her to go first down the sidewalk and into the club. The bouncers there just nod them through, recognising one of their own.

Lucian opens the black door, loud music pouring out as they head into the Aftermath.

Zoie blushes more deeply. That is the worst possible thing to be wrong on hearing. She looks at him and breaks out in a river of speech (without taking a breath). "I'm so sorry Lucian, I didn't mean to say that. I mean I wasn't even thinking of you like that. I mean not that I wouldn't think of you like that. I'm sure that many people think of you like that. I mean you totally could be in that running if you wanted to be, but we'd have to date and like each other and then get married. Oh sugar cookies! I didn't mean to bring up marriage. Please don't be mad. I just.. I'm.. sorry."

Lucian watches her as she goes on the babble streak, eyebrows raised slightly as he listens. A grin crops up about halfway through, and it only gets bigger as she goes on. "I'm not mad, and it's okay. You don't have anything to apologize for, it was a misunderstanding is all. I thought it was cute. Glad to know I haven't been completely ruled out though." He puts his hand on her back and ushers her into the club, starting to edge them towards the railing around the dance pit. "You want anything to drink? Juice or soda?"

Zoie turns a whole new shade of red called Zoie. "I.." She has nothing. There is a nod of her head. "Could I get an orange juice? I know they use them for mixers. That would be good right now." She smiles up at him sweetly and then looks around the club.

Lucian nods and heads over towards the bar, stashing his coat and the helmet behind it. It doesn't take him long, it helps when you can just grab the stuff yourself, and he comes back with the glass of juice and a glass of water for himself. As he approaches her he looks around then asks, "So, what do you think?"

"It's so very bright. I mean ... and the yuppies that come in here. All that you know, classical music and the white table cloths. It's totally not what I was expecting." Zoie teases lightly and looks around. "It seems nice. I mean.. I'm a bit worried that it might get rough or um.. you know.. explicit." Then she smiles at him. "Do you dance?"

Lucian looks down at the sea of bodies writhing under the flickering light. "It can get a little rough and a little touchy feely, and no I don't dance, not even a little. But I'll go in with you and play at being a body guard. Maybe you can teach me something." He chuckles and hands over her juice before draining his glass.

Zoie downs the juice and then grabs his hands to try and pull him into the mass of writhing bodies. "You just move." There are people moshing, that she avoids, and people grinding that she sort of watches. Her lips curve as she finds the beat and immediately falls into flawless urban dance.

Lucian is easily drug after, though his moving mostly consists of firmly pushing people aside to keep them from ramming into the girl in front of him. As she starts to dance there's a frozen moment as his brain locks up, watching as she picks up the music. He finally remembers to let out the breath he's holding, which is good, but he's still standing there like a big idiot.

Zoie tips her head and laughs a bit. "Lucian, I haven't really been trained in pole dancing, so you are going to have to move a bit. Just.. find someone dancing with a woman and copy what they are doing."

Lucian actually goes, "Huh?" before he realizes she's talking to him and giving suggestions, then he seems to snap out of it a little bit and glance around. He starts moving to the music, but it's pretty clear he is completely out of his element and looking a bit uncomfortable. But really, who could say no to her right now?

Zoie looks up and laughs a bit more. "Okay.. let's try this." She turns her back to him and then takes his hands to slide it onto her hips. "Now you just follow me. When I bend my knees, you bend yours. When I bend at the waist forward, put one of your hands upon my lower back, then I'll straighten and back to my hips." She mimics these moves as to her dancing is just dancing.

As she starts to direct him he starts to look sort of...dismayed. When it comes out what kind of dancing she intends he throws up his hands and goes a little stiff again, "Woah kitten that's just...that's just going to be a bad idea. Uh...if I fell I'd just outright crush you." He's trying, but it's delivered fairly unconvincingly. "Why don't we just settle on you having fun on your own and I'll uh, watch and give it a try next time. Okay?" The last word sounds a little pleading.

Zoie looks up. Look, she's gotten her own nickname. "Um... I guess." She shrugs a bit and blends more into the crowd. The cool thing about clubs is that everyone dances with each other. If a man gets touchy feely, she moves back to Lucian though. It is rather impressive to watch her dance. It isn't because she's professional, it's because she loves it and one can tell by watching her.

And being clad in skin tight leather certainly doesn't hurt. Lucian keeps his eyes on her, watching her as she has her fun, and moving into the way if someone reaches for something they shouldn't. He's pretty good at deflecting attention without looking like he's doing it on purpose, enough movement in his step to keep it from looking like he's being a blatant ass.

After a few hours, yes hours, Zoie is sweaty and probably dropping at least a point of appearance. She leans into him, still oddly smelling of honeysuckle and vanilla, "You ready to bail?" Okay, she smells of sweat too. It is leathers. Her eyes are almost manic with happiness. "We could go for a ride somewhere and look at the starts." She's practically yelling to be heard.

Lucian kept himself parked there the whole time, and not a word of complaint. As she decides she's had enough he leans down to hear her better, then nods. "Sounds like fun." He turns to start clearing a path to the top of the stairs, gently pushing or shoving where it's needed. Once they reach the safety outside the pit he holds up a finger for her to wait, going to retrieve his coat and helmet from behind the bar.

Zoie is lifting her hair off the back of her neck and fanning it. This does also get some attention and some glares. Women don't like pretty women near /their/ men. Zoie takes her turn to wait patiently as she bounces on the balls of her feet.

Lucian comes back, handing over the helmet before he holds out the coat. "So you don't get chilled." He walks towards the door, the co-workers there giving him looks and even a thumbs up as they start to go past. He just glares and pushes the door open, letting her go out first.

Well Zoie just lifted his cred in this place. That's right, take that woman home with you. Rawr!

Of course, Zoie also shrugs into the coat and purrs a bit. "Mmmm feels like warmth." There is a giggle before she walks out the door.

Lucian lets out a soft, wavering sigh before he walks over towards his bike, where he's forced to pause. He reaches out to grasp one side of the jacket, pulling it open a little so he can get his glasses back out, putting them on before repeating the process of gettting the bike ready to roll.

Zoie frowns a bit as she waits for him to hop on the bike before she does. "Why are you sighing, Loo-she, didn't you have a good time? You should learn to dance ad women really tend to like it." She's obviously hyper and hyped up.

Lucian gives her an amused look, "I'm sighing because it's very hard to look and not touch." He chuckles, standing it up before popping the stand out of the way. Nodding for her to get on, he waits until she does before backing the bike out and setting off to a destination away from the city.

Lucian drives them out into the dessert, away from the city so that the light they get comes from the sky above and the headlamp of the bike. He finds a spot to pull off the road, getting off the bike before the cruiser can start slipping on the terrain. Once he's killed the engine and turned off the lights the darkness seems to swarm in for a second until eyes adjust to the pale light coming from above.

Zoie looks confused. "What are you looking at and not touching. It is /your/ bike." Zoie offers with a bright and vibrant smile. Then they are taking off, this time, she snuggles in close but there are going to be less marks on his flesh.

<Pause and Continue so excuse if poses don't match exactly right here>

Lucian gets off the bike once they're off the main road, turning it all off so they're out in the dark with only the sky above for light. He starts to walk up a small hill, towards a collection of rocks big enough for sitting on. Picking a spot for himself he sits down, stretching his legs out with a sigh. "Let me know if it gets too cold for you and we'll head back. The wind can really get going out here sometimes."

Zoie is snuggled into his coat, which is going to forever smell of honeysuckle and vanilla now. "I'm good for now. I mean.. I'm so up from like totally dancing earlier." She turns her head slightly to the side to study him a bit. "So how do you know Kenny?"

Lucian shrugs, letting his arms rest on his knees. "I was walking by the house after I got back to town and I figured what the hell and knocked on the door. He thought it was interesting that I used to live there, let me know I'd forgot some stuff and after some beer and shooting the shit he offered to let me crash if I needed to."

Zoie nods her head to that and smiles. "Kenny is good like that. He sort of moved me in that same fashion. He was like, hey you can crash here. Then next thing I knew, I had my own bedroom." She flops down near the man and then flops onto her back. Those green eyes tracking the stars in the sky.

Lucian nods, "He seems like an okay guy in my book." He looks over at her an eyebrow lifting up, "So you just started crashing at some guy's house? And you and he...there's nothing?" Disbelief creeping into his voice.

Zoie laughs. "Well.. we sort of met beforehand and I was looking for a place to stay. So it fell into place." Zoie looks at him for a few moments of confusion. "We are friends, if that's what you are asking."

Lucian scratches at his jaw, "Uh yeah...that's what I was asking." He coughs lightly, before looking up at the sky himself. "So what else do you do? So far I know you're new to bike riding, can dance and look amazing in tight leather."

Zoie thinks about it. "I make coffee at Kiva, I think I'm going to keep the gamer job because the guys really tip well. I mean I don't understand the stuff they talk about, but whatever, right?" She frowns a bit and looks over to him. "I look okay in the outfit? I think it's a bit re-donkey-less.:

Lucian laughs, "You look more than okay kitten. If I didn't respect that you're not that kind of girl, I'd be trying my luck with you right about now. So my vote is for you looking unbelievably hot." He chuckles, reaches over into his coat, stealing a cigar and lighter out from inside the pockets.

Zoie blushes a bit and is thankful for the cast of night. "I um... thanks. I mean.. I think. I mean.. yeah, I'm not that kind of girl."

Lucian settles back to bite the end off the cigar, sending it sailing out into the dark. The lighter flickers to life for a moment, the man puffing away to get the cigar going. When it's finally caught he just puts the lighter in his back pocket. "You don't like it? When guys compliment you?"

Zoie laughs in a nervous manner. "It's not that I don't like it. I mean everyone likes to know that people find them pretty or smart or you know stuff like that. However, I just.. I never know how to take it, you know?"

Lucian shrugs a little, leaning back a little to look at her. The end of the cigar glows briefly, "What do you mean? Generally any guy that tells you you're hot pretty much means the same thing." He chuckles softly. "You haven't told a guy you think he's attractive before?"

Desert Wolf appears from the distant south, succumbing to the optical illusion of getting larger as he approaches.

Zoie wrinkles her nose a bit in a kittenish gesture. "Well... I mean sure I guess maybe. It's just I always feel weird. I mean, when a guy is all like hey baby you look hot. What do I say to that? Thanks seems conceited. Nothing seems rude. You too seems like a lead on."

Trotting towards the pair; suspiciously coming in form behind with the stealth that a predatory desert creature possesses, the wolf follows its nose towards the smell of cigar smoke on the air. Several paces back, however, it stops and sits; both ears perked and pointing forward while its head is slightly canted.

Lucian sits on a rock next to Zoie, smoking a cigar while they talk and look at the stars. He laughs and shrugs a little, "Then I guess thanks would have to do. I get that the whole flirting back thing makes you uncomfortable." He grins over at her, "But really, the outfit's just unfair on those of us that are trying to behave." Scratching at his chin he reaches up to pull the cigar out, tapping ash on the rock next to him.

Zoie opens her mouth and closes it again. "Is this where I'm supposed to giggle, twirl my hair and ask why you are being good? I never get those cues right. I mean not that I want what comes..." She trails off. You ever have that feeling that something is watching you? Her eyes shift through the darkness, but she sees nothing. Well that is until there are glowing orbs of... "What in the name of Seabiscuit... is that?"

Stands up after a few moments of conversation pass between them and, with head lowered and yellow eyes along with its focus, it begins to stalk forward, so unusual that an animal would approach a human, even with open trepidation. Its pink tongue sags out between its maw and makes a wet sound as it lazily licks its chops.

Lucian shakes his head, "I'd hope you know why I'm being good." As her attention goes behind them he turns around and looks around as well, until he spots the two eyes staring back at them. "Coyote maybe? Kinda ratty looking." He muses around a puff. "Just don't run." He shifts to slowly slide down one side of the rock, edging his way towards the ground.

Desert Wolf's cover has been made, red alert, red alert. But rather then fleeing, it charges forward, giving a small leap for that extra momentum. Quickly it crosses the distance, giving up stealth for speed, and lunges at Lucian. Not growling, not with fangs bared but with the mouth open and tongue out. The young wolf solicits Lucian by licking his face with gusto. Its expressive tail wagging like the canine never though he'd see Lucian ever again. Or, maybe more appropriately, like Lucian might barf up something tasty.

Zoie gives a muffled cry as the wolf leaps at the other man. Then it's.. "Stop! It's tasting you." Zoie scurries higher up the rock and stomps her foot. "Boo!" Yeah, like that is going to terrify the wolf.

Lucian lets out a sound that's have startled, angry yell and half thoroughly grossed out. His hands come up to grip the wolf by the scruff on each side of its head, trying to fend it off as the licking attack ensues. "Jesus Christ your breath smells like ass." Less panicked than Zoie but still intent on getting the animal off of him. His face is a mask of surprise, though the hindquarter wrigglefest that's going on keeps him from doing any kicking. Yet.

Desert Wolf casts a glance at Zoie as she scrambles for the safety of higher ground before turning its attention back to covering Lucians face with yummy mouth slime and hot canine breath. That smell might be something road-killish that it ate not too long ago or at least its ass. With Lucian properly wetted, the wolf drops down on all fours again, panting slightly from the energetic greeting and turns its attention to Zoie. Or rather her direction, sniffing instead at the ground she back petals over and a foot if it isn't withdrawn quickly enough. Satisfied for the moment, it jumps off the rock and to the bike, tail high and proud with a slight wag and begins to sniff the wheels.

Zoie gives a soft squeal when the wolf sniffs her foot. "Don't eat that. I need both of them to dance." The woman then looks wide-eyed at Lucian. Talk about a mood killer right? She could have been just about ready to say 'take me big boy'. Okay, she'd never say that.

Lucian pushes himself back up, standing as he starts to wipe the drool off his face and neck. He's cussing under his breath, digging out the rag he used to cover his hair on the ride to dry up the spit. He's scowling some as the dog moves past Zoie and starts checking out his bike, "Don't you do it. I will run you over." The bike gets a threat, but he says nothing about going near Zoie. Priorities. Looking over to the girl. "This is why you don't take wild animals as pets. Fucks them all up when they get dumped on their own." he growls, shoving the damp rag away in his pocket.

The fuzzy cock-block examines the parts of the bike that are low enough to the ground that it can easily access, straining to crane its neck to 'niff the seat without putting paws on the machine before its inspection takes it to the other side. At the end of the tour, finishing sniffing the tread, the canine lifts its head and looks towards the darkness. The number of paws on the ground swiftly become one less, and the puppy's option of the vehicle is heard before the smell of it is recognized, running water with the heavy smell of ammonia. After peeing on the bike, the wolf cheerfully bolts into the darkness. Who says wolves can't grin?

Zoie watches the wolf for a long moment. "He's just smelling the bike, it's okay Luc..." Then look at that. Her cheeks flush red before she looks over at the man. "I.. um.. maybe we should get home."

Lucian watches the furball dash off into the dark, "Mother..." His jaw clenches and he doesn't finish the word. "Yeah, probably." He mutters, reaching for his dropped cigar to grind it out in the sand, "I need to wash up, damn thing got slobber all over me." Sighing he looks over at the girl, "Sorry your star watching got busted up." He starts to walk for the bike, breaking up the cigar as he goes, scattering tobacco and paper wrapping to the four winds.

Zoie nods her head. "Hey... it's okay. Um.. do I have to put my feet where it.. um.. you know." She gives a slightly perturbed expression to that. However, there is a smile for him. "We can look at stars later."

Lucian sighs, "I think it mostly landed on the tire. Let me move it forward out of the...puddle and you should be fine." He slides his riding glasses on as he heads on down to the bike, lifting it up off the stand to roll it forward and away from farewell the animal left them. He's out of luck on tying his hair down this go, the rag already put to other uses. So after checking out the passenger pedals he gets on and starts getting the bike ready to roll. "You're fine. Helmet up and I'll take you back to the cabin."

The ride back to the cabin has Zoie keeping her feet off the pee stained tire. Ew. Her arms are tight around Lucian as the ends of her hair get a little wind blown as they hang out from the helmet. When they arrive back, her eyes move to the VW Campervan. "Who's is that?"

Lucian pulls up the driveway, looking over at the camper as she mentions it. Turning off the bike he reaches up to try and drag his fingers through his hair, "A mutual friend of mine and Ken, but I've known her for longer. She lets me crash in there sometimes, when I'm not here or not working on my new place."

Zoie starts to hop off and then stops. "Oh... a friend..." There's a pause to that. "Am I going to be walking into another round of who Kenny's sleeping with next which leads to more women insulting me? Or is this one your friend?"

Lucian gives her a funny look, then the lightbulb comes on and he laughs, "This one is my friend in that department, I don't think Ken's her type." He grins a little bit, giving her leg a pat, "Don't worry kitten, you're safe."

Zoie lets out a breath. "Okay. I've had enough girl drama. I feel like I'm dating them." There is a soft blush. It is hard to tell if it's from the leg pat or from the comment. "Comeon, lets get you in a shower." She's off the bike after saying that.

Lucian eyes her as he starts to head up the steps towards the door, "Is that an offer to scrub my back?" His expression amused but voice slightly hopeful. Opening it up he holds the front door for her, motioning for her to go in first.

Zoie turns like five brilliant shades of red. Her eyes are wide as she looks over at Lucian for a few moments. The girl almost trips over her feet at the threshold as she looks at him. Her eyes are filled with shock. Before she offers a sputtering "No.. No.. I mean.. I.. no."

Lucian laughs, reaching out to pet her on the hair again. "Relax, I didn't think you were." He grins, walking to the kitchen first. "You're just too easy to tease kitten." Getting himself a beer he starts to walk towards the guest room, "I'm a flirter sugar, going to have to get used to it. Don't mean anything by it."

Zoie nods her head and then shakes out her hair a bit. It is dusty. Her whole back is sandy. It really looks like they were doing things they were not doing. "Well um.. should I stay here or are you just going to crash out afterwards?"

Lucian conciders then shakes his head, "I think I'll just crash out. But thanks for hanging out with me, I had fun. Just...do one thing for me?" He pauses at the door, tilting his head a little as he gives her one last longing looking over. "Wear that stuff around the house. Alot. I might stick around here more than I do." He grins and winks at her before heading into the room, shutting the door behind him.
