Zoie - Second Job/Setting

TriForce Gaming -- First Floor -- Albuquerque

The primary entrance of this shop consists of all-glass double-doors set into an all-glass wall, most of which is covered up by all manner of fantasy and science-fiction posters, clippings, and artwork, the panels of the doors included, so that, during the day, little daylight actually enters the place. The floors are covered with a not-too-dark brownish carpeting, matching the wood paneling on the walls and the paint on the stuccoed ceiling. Strip lights follow walls, where they meet the ceiling, and also form rows across the ceiling, providing ample light throughout the establishment, somehow without being /too/ bright at the same time.

The portion of the shop into which the doors open is dominated by shelves and display stands on which computers, computer accessories, and the latest in computer games are on display... and under lock and key. A long checkout counter with two registers is set up so that one end is near the entry and the other end extends into the place, creating a barrier between this 'computer store' area and the rest of the shop, which is set up as what appears to be, according to a sign that hangs from the ceiling over the center of the area, the "Computer Gaming Zone". Several rows of computer desks fill that part of the place, a total of almost forty fully-loaded gaming computers set up (and safely secured to prevent theft) on the desks. A small area, separated from the computer gaming zone by a styrofoam pieces glued together to form a barrier and spraypainted to look like a stone wall, has some small tables and chairs set up, apparently for eating and drinking. Signs posted on support columns in the computer zone and sales floor read "You break it, you bought it!" and some on the 'stone wall' read "No food or drink allowed outside the snack area!"

A staircase and elevator, both set in the center and rear of the store, next to the public restrooms and the door to the manager's office, are labelled with signs that read "Tabletop and LARP Gaming Zones, Upstairs!"
