"Not all those who wander are lost."
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

"“There's a race of men that don't fit in, A race that can't sit still; So they break the hearts of kith and kin, And they roam the world at will. They range the field and rove the flood, And they climb the mountain's crest; Their's is the curse of the wanderlust, And they don't know how to rest.” "

A Glimpse Within
Physical Description
There's just... something... something that draws the eye. Not exceptionally beautiful, but perhaps exotic enough to catch more than a few glances. Not superlatively graceful, but she carries herself with a distinct air. Confident. Aloof. Distant. Her mannerisms would suggest she's a young woman, but faint lines around the eyes and lips and that depth to her gaze and expression would paint her as far older. Out in the sun too long? Too long on the road?

Her skin is a darker hue, eyes a distinct dark blue framed by thick dark lashes. Her hair is dark as well, not black, but brown enough that some insist the color is closer to black than brown. It is not shiny, not coarse, but falling somewhere between the two.

She stands just below 5'7", her frame athletic but certainly not perfect, the sort sculpted by a non-sedentary lifestyle rather than daily visits to a gym. Beyond the physical there is a silent intensity that surrounds her, with a hint of strength mixed with echoes of joy and heartbreak, of triumphs and regrets.

The young woman's choice of clothing is certainly not out of the pages of Vogue. Loose silken trousers of russet and gold are tucked into laced, suede calf-boots. A leather belt binds a white silk shirt of poet's cut.
