Sassy, opinionated and possessive. All qualities that describe Melinda perfectly. She's also fiercely loyal to those she's close to. She just doesn't get close often. She certainly never shares those she considers her, whether it be a person or thing. A little on the wild side at time, she's a girl who knows how to let her hair down and have fun. She's also one to goad others at times and seems to get a deranged pleasure out of frustrating others. Soft Spot? He may be an ass and a bit of a bastard but Mel believes under it all, at the core, Court is a good man. At least somewhat. He has protected her more than once and for that reason, among others, she is willing to become whoever he wants her to be. They may annoy each other at times, but she is fiercely loyal, defensive and possessive of Court. He is hers. No touching! She genuinely cares about him as well.

An Enigma. First impression? She seems to be a sweet enough girl if a bit timid and skittish at times. It makes Mel want to reach out to her and try to help. An impulse she squashes whenever it arises. It just won't do to get too close to too many people. Still, she feels badly for the girl.

A Threat? Hardly! While Mel doesn't view Crystal as any real threat to her way of life, she isn't overly fond of the way the woman so openly hit on Court when he's obviously spoken for. Still, as long as all she does it flirt, there won't be a problem just a bit of annoyance. Other than that, she seems like a nice enough woman. Not Mel's typical kind of people though.

WTF? Creepy Bastard! There are very few people that really give Melinda the creeps to the point where she clings and shivers. This man is one of them. Maybe it's because their first meeting consisted of him trying to 'rent' her from Court or convince him to share. Maybe it's the way he seems to think he has a right to her. Or maybe it's just how he looks. Who knows. Whatever it is, she never wants to bump into him without Court present. Ever!
